Peru
A land of extreme contrast with arid deserts and immense tropical forests bisected by the jagged spine of the Andes on its journey from Venezuela to the Southern tip of Chile.
South America is the hub of all that is football, with some of the most talented players in world coming from its very shores. Peru may not be the first country that comes to mind when you say ‘FOOTBALL’, but it certainly has the talent and an abundance of flair and passion in its youngsters.
Sport in Peru plays a key part in all walks of life, and is very much part of everyday life. Sportventurer wants to help make this passion much more a reality for those who don’t always get the opportunity to have the care and attention that we so often take for granted from our own 1st World facilities. Sportventurer works with teams and communities where the opportunity to play and be trained by coaches would not normally be there.
Aim
We aim to create continuous programmes that contribute to sport and youth development by utilising the skills and enthusiasm of people who love sport and travel and want to contribute to something worthwhile.
