Football is growing rapidly in popularity in Fiji and is especially popular with the Indo-Fijian half of the population. As well as working in the regular SportVenturer schools where we run regular football coaching sessions, we attach our soccer coaches to the Fijian F.A.’s development officers who work in schools around Suva coaching and promoting the game.

A focus of the coaching is development of the game at grass roots level, coaching children who have never had any proper coaching before and who may not have had proper exposure or access to the beautiful game before. Games can quickly become hectic with plenty of bunching and hordes of kids just chasing madly after the ball; this is where your passion and enthusiasm for the game will be key.

We can help you get involved in the Fiji Pepsi (premier) League coaching some of the top level teams in Fiji. There is also the opportunity to train and play for a local team and for those who are good enough a chance to play for the Eastern District; remember get your release from your local F.A. if you intend to play!

Anyone who has coached at a higher level will likely be asked to work with a junior district side, or a local men’s team depending on the season.
